Orienteering/Map & Compass
Ackers Adventure is situated in 70 acres of semi rural land making it an ideal location for orienteering and map & compass
work. We have a permanent orienteering course at Ackers Adventure with routes that vary in length from 1.7km to 3.2km. The course has been very successful with school’s Geography Field
trips and Scout and Cubs groups to gain their achievement badges.
Orienteering at Ackers Adventure is ideal for small groups of teams that want to be a little bit more competitive. It can be self
supervised or run by group leaders.

Map & Compass
- Private: £50 for 1st person, £15 for each extra person
- Family Lesson: £60 based on 2 adults and 2 juniors (extra adults £13, extra juniors £9)
- Youth group rate: £60 per group of 10
- Adults group rate: £110 per group of 10
- Pre-registered local school: £50 per group of 10
- Birmingham LEA school: £55 per group of 10
- Other schools: £60 per group of 10
