Corporate Volunteering Days
Every year many businesses give up their time and employees time to support Ackers Adventure. Whether it be for an hour or a day, volunteer work is a great way of getting out of the normal working environment, into the fresh air and achieving something that really makes a difference to the whole community.
Our previous volunteering organisations include:
- Deutche Bank
- Price Waterhouse Cooper
Make a difference!
We really value volunteer groups offering their valuable time and effort to help us keep the site tidy and make ongoing improvements. Previous groups have been involved in projects such as pond clearance, path renovation and fence construction.
We have many on-going projects that will test skills and expertise of individuals and groups. If your organisation is looking to volunteer their time to an environmental project or contribute to on-going improvements in the areas in which we live and work then please get in touch! Many companies are using these schemes to contribute to their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), as well as providing time away from the confines of the office to work on rewarding projects as a team. This also enhances team cohesion, a sense of achievement and more importantly an element of fun.
