Canoeing, Kayaking & Bell Boating

Situated on The Grand Union Canal makes Ackers Adventure an ideal location for many water based activities. These activities include:

Canoeing:
Ackers Adventure uses Open Canoes that seat 1- 3 people. The Canoes make an ideal group session for schools, youth groups and also for families who want to try something new and different. Courses and clubs are also available.

Kayaking
Versatile, fast and exciting using double bladed paddles and sitting right on the water. Courses range from total beginners to advanced paddling. Kayaking is great fun and a great way of keeping fit.

Bellboating:
Bellboats are twin-hulled boats that seat up to 10 people and are very stable in the water making them ideal for use with people who are unsure of the water, children’s groups and disabled groups.

These activities can be booked as Private, Family, Party or Group Sessions.

After School Canoe Club
Why not join Ackers Adventure’s After School Canoe Club? Mike Owen Ackers Adventure‘s resident canoe professional invites you to attend the After School Canoe club every Wednesday evening. The club is open to 8-16yr olds and costs £8 per person per session. For more information please call reception on 0121 772 5111.

Ackers Adventure offers a variety of courses (including coaching courses) designed to enable everyone to take up these activities or improve their existing skills. Ackers Adventure has a fleet of boats for use with groups and courses. Tuition can be arranged on canals, lakes or rivers in the Midlands.
