Whizz Kids -Â School Holiday Fun at Ackers Adventure
Looking for something to keep the kids occupied during the school holidays then the Ackers Adventurous Activity Centre has something for you. This holiday sees the return of the ever-popular Whizz Kids sessions. Whizz Kids is specially designed for 8-16 year olds and gives children the opportunity to try skiing, archery, canoeing or climbing for only £8.00 per session. These sessions are suitable for complete beginners or for children looking to improve their skills.
Whizz kids is an ideal way to keep children entertained, learn new skills, meet new friends and keep active throughout the school holidays. Our fully qualified instructors are on hand to provide advice and instruction, and all equipment is included.
Ackers Adventure runs Whizz Kids every weekday during School holidays. In the past this event has proved to be a huge success with many children, who after attending have taken up the sports as a new hobby.
After School Clubs
Skiing-Climbing-Canoeing-Archery
Skiing, climbing and canoeing, Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursdays from 6pm – 7.30pm. Open to all 8 – 16 year olds. Please see activities pages for more details.

Ski School for Beginners
Pingu Ski School is on every Saturday and is designed for children who have little or no ski experience. Sessions are one hour long and all ski equipment is included.
Our dedicated instructors are on hand to offer guidance and assistance, and small class sizes provides for maximum learning.
The 4 stages take participants from being complete beginners up to a competent recreational standard skier so that they can ski without instruction.
Pingu Lesson £18.00, Pingu Package £70 (6 lessons)
Midlands Ski Club
An active local club that meet regularly to ski at Ackers Adventure, enjoying subsidised rates and coaching. Club nights include practices, instruction and development sessions for all levels. Disability Snowsport UK & West Midlands Special Olympics
Enthusiastic and friendly branches of national charities helping anyone with special needs to learn and enjoy skiing with some excellent results achieved. All instructors have in-depth knowledge and experience. Please call for more details.
