Ackers Adventure caters for all types of disabilities whether your group is able bodied or not, from wheelchair users to behavioural or learning difficulties. All Activities can be adapted to cater for less mobile people including:
Skiing – The use of a Sit Ski or disabled Sledge allows a special needs person to experience the sensations of skiing whilst being fully under the control of a qualified Ackers Adventure instructor, who will take the person down the slope and steer for them.
Abseiling – Using a specially modified wheelchair, it is possible for less mobile people to abseil down our on site abseil wall.
Bell Boating – These are large, very stable open boats that can carry up to 12 people and look very much like a double canoe. They are ideal for special needs groups due to their stability and ability to carry an instructor on board to control the boat.
£70.00 (Per group of 10 per activity)
